1. Getting Started
1.1 What is the minimum system requirement to use Doshu?

2. Account / Profile
2.1 Can I edit my personal details?
Yes. To edit your information, please go to “My Profile” to edit your name, MyKad / Passport number and SIDC CPE requirement.
2.2 I forgot my password. How can I reset it?
Click “Forgot Password”, insert your email address and click ‘Submit’. We will send you a link to reset your password.
3. Accreditation
3.1 Are Doshu courses recognised or accredited?
Yes, some of our courses are accredited by SIDC / FIMM. The accreditation(s), if any, will be stated in the course overview.
3.2 How do I submit my SIDC CPE points / FIMM CPD points?
After you have completed the course and passed the test, you will be eligible for the points.
For SIDC CPE points, you do not have to do anything except to ensure that your personal details such as full name and MyKad or passport number and issuing country are correct. Symphony Digest will key in the details of the CMSRL holders and ERP holders into the CPE Tracker. Go to the SIDC CPE Tracker one (1) week later to check that your points have been updated. If they have not, please contact us immediately.
For FIMM CPD points, you are required to fill in your MyKad and license number in “My Profile” section .
4. Accessibility
4.1 Once my payment is successful, do I need to start the course immediately?
No, you don’t. You have 100 days period to start the course. E.g.: If you paid on 1/4/2020, you have until midnight (23:59:59) of 9/7/2020 to start the course.
4.2 Is there a time frame for me to complete the whole course?
Yes. Upon first click from “Start Course” button, you will be given 14 calendar days to complete the course. Your access will expire after 23:59:59 on the 14th day. E.g.: If you start at 10:00 on 1/4/2020, you must complete your course by midnight (23:59:59) of 14/4/2020.
4.3 What if I did not manage to complete the course in 14 days?
After 14 days, you will no longer be able to access the course. If you still wish to access the course, you will have to repurchase it.
5. Information on taking the course
5.1 What is the course structure?
Each course is divided into a few modules. The number of modules varies from course to course, depending on the information that needs to be learnt. There is a quiz at the end of each module which you must complete but do not have to pass to proceed. At the end of the course, there will be a test. You need to pass the test to earn the e-Certificate and accreditation, if any.
5.2 What is the difference between a quiz and a test?
Quizzes are designed to help you in the learning process. An explanation will be given for any wrong answer. You do not have to pass the quiz to proceed to the next module. Test questions on the other hand are designed to assess what you have learnt. You need to pass the test to earn the e-Certificate and accreditation, if any.
5.3 Are there prerequisites or language requirements?
The complexity of the course is indicated in the course overview. There are three (3) levels in ascending order of complexity – Refresher, Intermediate and Advanced. An Intermediate course would require you to have a basic understanding of topic while an Advanced level course would require you to have a full working knowledge of the topic. Refresher courses may be taken and understood by anyone.
All courses except specific language courses are conducted in English.
5.4 Is there a course outline and what I will take away from the course?
Yes, you can find the course outline and learning outcome in the course overview.
5.5 Is the course content updated?
We will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that the course content is updated. In any case, all the course content will be updated at least once a year or as and when deemed necessary. We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments to the content and course outline of a course when necessary.
5.6 How long will each course take?
The estimated time to complete the course is indicated in the course overview. The duration is set out for each module and the overall course. Generally, courses with 5 SIDC CPE points will run for one (1) to one and half (1.5) hours while those with 10 CPE points will run for more than three and half (3.5) hours.
5.7 Do I need to purchase the course materials?
No, access to the downloadable notes and resources are provided at no additional charge. The notes are available for download during your 14-day access period.
5.8 Are there assignments?
No, there are no assignments but there may be exercises to aid in your comprehension.
5.9 What methods are used for course delivery?
Methods vary by course and trainer but may include pre-recorded lectures, videos and PowerPoint slides.
5.10 Can I pause and come back to where I paused?
Yes but if you pause at any point other than at the end of a module, you will be directed to the start of the module when you return.
5.11 What if I have questions related to the course?
You may refer to “Ask the Trainer” section for the course. If you are unable to find the answer to your question, you may pose the question to the Trainer and the Trainer shall respond to you within 72 hours. The questions must be related to the course and should not be consultation type questions which the Trainer may choose not to answer.
5.12 Where can I see my course progress?
Your overall course progress is shown on the top right corner. You may refer to the right panel for the details of your course progress.
5.13 What is the passing score of the test?
The passing score of the test is 70%.
5.14 How many times can I take the test?
You can take the test as many times as you wish until you pass.
5.15 Does Doshu offer free courses?
Yes, please browse the course categories to find the free courses.
6. e-Certificate
6.1 Do I get an e-Certificate?
Yes but you must have completed the course, achieved the passing mark for the test and completed the evaluation form first.
6.2 How can I download my e-Certificate?
You can see all the e-Certificates you have earned in your User Profile. From there, you can download and print any of your e-Certificates.
6.3 What if there is a mistake with my name in the e-Certificate?
Unfortunately, the e-Certificate is automatically generated by the system based on the details you provide in your profile and cannot be changed. Therefore, always ensure that your details are correct.
7. Purchase / Payment & Corporate Package
7.1 How do I purchase a course?
Visit the Course Categories to browse our offerings. Review the course outline, trainer’s profile and accreditation information of the course. Select the course and click “Buy This Course”. Sign into Doshu before you proceed with your purchase. If you are new to Doshu, you are required to register with us. Registration is free.
You will then be directed to the Payment Page to make payment. You have the option to pay via bank transfer or credit card. A confirmation email will be sent to you after payment is made successfully.
You can now access to the course by clicking “Start Course”.
7.2 How do I make payment?
Payment is made via senangPay payment gateway. You have the option to pay via bank transfer or credit card. A confirmation email will be sent to you after payment is made successfully.
7.3 How do I request for a receipt?
If you require a receipt, email your request to info@doshu.com.my setting down the:

- Details of receipt recipient:
- Name:
- Address:
The receipt will be emailed to you.
7.4 Do you have corporate package?
