Chan Chow Hun

Mr. Chan is a Certified Islamic Financial Planner and a CFA charterholder. He was previously the CEO of the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (“FPAM”), and Chairman of the Asia Pacific Committee for 2010/2011. FPAM achieved the highest assessment rating by FPSB under his stewardship. Before that he was attached to the corporate finance and advisory departments of Bursa listed companies such as Intria Berhad and Salcon Berhad. Among his portfolio of experience are the listing of companies on Bursa and Stock Exchange. He has also worked in consulting, largely in the area of privatization, and in the regional project finance department of an international investment bank. He has worked in Schroeders and Arthur Andersen. Before joining the corporate sector, the trainer was in the public sector as a PTD officer, and was posted to the Kementerian Tenaga, Telekom dan Pos and Pejabat Kewangan Negeri Melaka as the Deputy State Financial Secretary. He has a post graduate diploma in Management Science from the Japan American Institute of Management Science, and a post graduate diploma in Public Management from INTAN.
