Course Synopsis

The trade war is among the most crucial aspects of the trading world and economy.  Some situations can give rise to the trade war and hamper the economy.  However, the situation may also create new investment opportunities.  In this course, we will discuss the concept and rational behind the trade war and its impact on the investment world.  Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to have a good understanding of the concept behind the trade war and be able to apply these concepts on client advisory in relation to investment and market analysis.

Dr. Theang Kok Foo

The trainer is a Certified Public Accountant with over 25 years of experience in the financial sector. A seasoned financial advisor, he has been an auditor (with Ernst & Young, Washington D.C.), member of financial and computer audit teams, and an equity dealer. He is also a mentor for Bank Simpanan Nasional's Micro Credit program. The trainer is a key player in the financial literacy education sector, having conducted numerous financial seminars and workshops on accounting, economics, finance, investment, and portfolio management (including CPE courses) since 2008. He has also served as a guest lecturer at various local colleges and universities and helped candidates prepare for ACCA and Real Estate Licensing Board examination. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Louisiana and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Delaware. He has recently completed his PhD
