A. Sunita Devi

Sunita Devi is a Certified Sustainability Reporting Specialist who provides consulting services related to sustainability audits, sustainability reporting requirements and content review of Sustainability and Integrated Reporting for public listed companies to enhance their compliance reporting quality, content and best practices via corporate training. Her training programmes emphasizes practical methods for high level leaders (Board of Directors, Senior Management, Middle Managers) in guiding, formulating and executing effective strategies in adherence to reporting requirements. Her ability to prioritize their needs based on materiality risks and identifying boundaries for such risks, clearly pays off, as several participants noted that her training is practical and implementations from the learning yields positive impact on their operations and business performance. Ever since 2008, Sunita has been writing on sustainability, training employees to improve skills and knowledge, speaking about the SDGs and Bursa Malaysia’s Reporting Requirements to create awareness consult companies in gaining recognition for their investments in sustainability by business sector. Her project capabilities extend from scoped and funded regional projects, campaigns for sustainability (MNCs), Sustainability reporting (PLCs) and she sits in the panels of judges for Sustainability awards in the country. Sunita is currently concluding her DBA research on Sustainability and Reporting Capabilities of Public Listed Companies in Malaysia, she has a master degree in Knowledge Management and has contributed to a PhD research in a Tourism Barometer project, funded by the Ministry of Higher Education. She constantly shares her knowledge with business communities through her articles, business forum moderations, and up to date she has produced gap analysis from Sustainability Reports of PLCs from various sectors of 3 ASEAN stock exchanges.
