Choo Dee Wei

Mr. Choo Dee Wei is currently a partner of Messrs Dee, Netto, Fatimah & Ng. A member of Lincoln’s Inns in the United Kingdom, he was called to the Bar of England and Wales on the 13th of October 2005 after obtaining a Bachelors (LL.B) in Law from University of West England. He was subsequently admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on the 6th of April 2007. He commenced his practice in Malaysia in Messrs Skrine for 2 years before moving to Messrs Lee Hishammudin Allen & Gledhill in 2009, where he practiced for the next 5 years. Thereafter he joined Messrs. CK Hau & Co in 2014 as a partner. In April 2016, he then founded Messrs Dee, Netto, Fatimah & Ng with 3 other partners. Further, he was also the Chairperson of the Young Lawyers Committee (Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee) in 2014/2015 and the Deputy Chairperson of the Pupils Welfare Sub-Committee (National Young Lawyers Committee, Bar Council Malaysia) in 2012/2013. He currently sits as Chairman of the Joint Management Committee of Metropolitan Square Damansara Perdana. Choo Dee Wei was the Contributing author to the Malaysian Civil Procedure 2013 (the White Book) and the contributing editor to the annotated Suborindate Courts Act 1948. He has written numerous law related articles for various publications Currently he is the co-founder of www.in personam.com, a platform for legal articles dedicated to the public. He continues to write and his articles can be found on his social media in particular via LinkedIn. With over 13 years of experience under his belt, Mr. Choo’s areas of practice include general litigation, contract and commercial law as well as family disputes.
